The Parents View

From a drifter and spendthrift loner emerges a secure and responsible upright citizen of society! The dramatic entrance into the world of a tangled ball of arms and legs changes any man or woman into something that they never thought they would be. A father or a mother!

Maybe on that first day of birth thoughts of running away, of divorce or simply jumping off the nearest roof enter the fathers head whilst the mother is just content to say repetitively "I will never go through that again"! And then after a few nappy changes and numerous sessions of coping with some frightfully loud screaming, the happiness sets in and with it the utmost pride in the baby that is of their creation.

Responsibility does not weigh heavily, it is born with love and the knowledge that this is the only way forwards that their child will grow up to be healthy and ready for whatever surprise may appear around the next corner.

The true Parent will never be anything else but true!

"I can never return to the life I had before, and I don't want to"!
