In His Own Words................

Got rather drunk working in a quarry for Consolidated Goldfields and found myself on a Coaster bound for West Africa as a 3rd Engineer in their Shipping Company Comben Longstaff Ltd. Stayed with them while I worked up to C/Eng and went Deep sea. Left the Sea after 23 years and roamed around Africa digging boreholes and running coral reef scuba diving tours in Kenya, amongst other stuff. Now settled in Wales writing about anything I can remember.
